These two boys are our inspiration for this site, and the reason we were motivated to start a movement - we call it "We Live On". On October 28, 2017 we lost our oldest son, Tom to a drug overdose at the age of 22. Trying to navigate the pain, and support each other, our family was hit with another tragedy six months later. On April 14, 2018 our youngest son, Chris succumbed to his grief and depression and took his own life. He was only 18 years old. Through the prayers and support of family and friends, we have been strengthened and motivated to spend the rest of our lives trying to make a difference in the lives of others. We are losing a generation to mental illness and substance abuse disorders and the system to address these issues is definitely broken. Together we believe our communities can heal and save our loved ones from the dire consequences we have had to endure. We need everyone to start the conversation about how we can change the direction we are going. And we have learned that each new day is an opportunity to make a choice for LIFE. This is how WE LIVE ON. We encourage others who have dealt with loss to join us. There is healing in fellowship, and in service to others. Will you be part of our movement?
